1404420 2015-07-09 04:07:00 Hey i recently upgraded my galaxy s4 to lollipop , first i notice it seemed to hang on a couple of times , restarting it fixed it a couple of times . Now it is finally has stopped happening . Secondly i noticed battery drains a bit faster than what i got before .

Apart from the problems i like lollipop .

So if you have upgraded to the lollipop or got it with a new phone , do you notice any of the things i notice and do you like it ?

A factory reset fixed everything

1404423 2015-07-10 07:07:00 Recently upgraded my Sony tablet to Lollipop.
My only gripe is, removal of the volume level slider from the pull down menu.

1404425 2015-07-14 05:30:00 Lollipop runs very well on my Note 3 but I regret updating the nexus 7(2012) and there are a lot of forum posts out there regarding issues people have had.
5.1.1 does fix a lot as Chill mentions but Samsung are slow to release updates and on older devices they eventually just stop. My Note 3 is on 5.0 only and I suspect the main reason it runs so well is it has more RAM than most android devices, 3GB vs 1GB on the Nexus. One of the issues was a memory leak I believe.

I find the note occasionally (maybe once every week or two) gets sluggish and needs a restart and my Nexus can become totally unresponsive at times since "upgrading" to lollipop. If I was using my tablet for more than a bedside alarm clock these days I'd be incredibly frustrated with it. Not one of androids better releases IMHO, a lot of cosmetic changes and a lot of issues to go with them.

In my early android days (starting with gingerbread for me I think, 2.3 or so) I used to factory reset after every update otherwise my old galaxy S would behave weirdly and things wouldn't work right. After upgrading to an S3 I got out of the habit as it never seemed necessary, but if you update and things aren't as expected it's always worth a try as Ninjabear mentioned.
