1404027 2015-07-02 02:16:00 When I open a site, this one included, I often get an extra site on a new TAB, it appears to be some sort of student news.
foxstoriesau.com

I have scanned with MalwareBytes & Microsoft Security and found nothing. There are no programs installed which shouldn't be there. I have reinstalled Chrome & checked the extensions.

Has anyone had the same experience?

1404028 2015-07-02 02:26:00 The following gives details of the website, but nothing to suggest why it is popping up when logging into another website, even IRD!

1404029 2015-07-02 07:57:00 I guess you have checked the settings for opening tabs? gary67 (56)
1404030 2015-07-02 08:26:00 I guess you have checked the settings for opening tabs?

Only TAB setting I can find is under 'On Start up' which is set to display Google. Can't find any 'Stop Popups'.
The unwanted page displays in a new TAB upon loading another site, not at start up, including PC World.

1404031 2015-07-02 09:10:00 Check the setting page, Under on startup, then set pages, open and make sure there is only one page being told to open. If you have two, then it will open two on different tabs.

Does this only happen in Chrome or on IE and any other browser as well ?

1404033 2015-07-02 11:30:00 Its malware. Need to try alternatives if its not being picked up.

Cheers,
