1404010 2015-07-02 01:08:00 For a very limited time you can download Avast Internet Security and use for 6 months....So if you have thought about now is the time to get it for a reasonable amount of time...

1404013 2015-07-02 01:38:00 I'd avoid any all dancing, all singing, does everything Internet Security from any brand.
Stick with the basic AV . Avast AV is OK when set to email & file only , price is right (free)

Just FYI
Avast may block install of new brother MFC printer software, Ive had to disable AV, install the brother software, then add the folders to Avasts exclusion list then enable AV again

1404015 2015-07-02 03:18:00 Seems a debatable subject.

I lean to Eset.

1404016 2015-07-02 04:19:00 I wouldn't bother either to be honest. Some of Avast's latest offerings are borderline adware-ish. wratterus (105)
1404017 2015-07-02 22:02:00 Avast is fine as a free AV solution. I don't get many popups for upgrading - unlike Avira, which had popups about every week or more.

Paid one though, I'd opt for Eset. BitDefender gets good ratings, but its a bit simplistic for my tastes - free Avast has more options to tune things.
