1403999 2015-07-02 00:03:00 Can someone tell me the difference in size between Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 GT-S7275R & GT-S7275T Driftwood (5551)
1404000 2015-07-02 00:42:00 Don't think there is a difference in physical size between those two models. Nick G (16709)

1404002 2015-07-02 01:31:00 Here is the story.

My wife & I both have GT-S7275T mobiles.
These are both Spark/Telecom models.
They are 11.6mm deep.

Wanted a wallet cover for my wifes.
Couldn't find one to fit online in NZ, so imported one from Aus.
OK thats her sorted.

I want something Like this:

www.amazon.co.uk

But same problem, can't find one that will fit.
Aparently the standard Ace 3 GT-S7275 is only 10mm deep.
Some of the sellers mention GT-S7275R but never GT-S7275T

This is the only type I could find in NZ that might fit

www.mobilefun.co.nz

Not quite what I was after but may have go that way if nothing else comes to lite.

Thought I'd stretch this thread a bit more, just in case anyone is interested.

No Spark/Telecom shops in my area but had a look in a Vodafone shop as they sold the same model.
Nothing that would fit my phone.
Similar cases for other models started at $50.

In the finish I bought one from Amazon.
The cost was NZD 8.99 delivered.
Came all the way from Germany.

So why would you bother shopping locally.

1404004 2015-07-19 07:16:00 All my Samsung covers I have bought from eBay/Aliexpress for about 20 to 35% cheaper than NZ. Also those sites often display similar serial numbers (for different markets/editions, I think) that have matching covers and batteries. Seems common with Samsungs Aces, GT's, Duos, Trend where there are a range of serials that all fit the same accessories.

e.g. copied from eBay for the GT-S7275T: WHITE SILICONE CASE GEL CASE COVER FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE 3 S7270 S7272 S7275. As you say no specific T model/make (even in Google Images - nothing), but seemingly other serials.

1404005 2015-07-19 12:06:00 Good point, I just finished getting parts for this Lumia from Ebay. Replaced the digitizer because I couldn't send txts (If I pressed K, L would come up instead). This was $80 here !

Ebay it was $16 NZ. Then decided to replace the back of the case (with a wireless charging case).

Couldnt find it here. Got that for around $18 NZ (about £10 + $6 postage). That came from the UK.

Then replaced the battery with a higher capacity one. That costs about $18 NZ. Couldn't find a better one here. Then got a solar power bank on Ebay for about $38 NZ. I've never seen any in NZ. Only ones you plug into something.

Then got a wireless charging pad for the Lumia. Couldnt find one here. That was only $9 or so NZ $. Way better than buying it here. Thats if it's here

1404006 2015-07-19 19:49:00 Plenty of solar power banks on TM Speedy, I just sold one on there bought two from Aliexpress and sold the second one on TM for what I paid for both from Ali gary67 (56)
1404007 2015-07-19 21:50:00 Not on TM tho. Rather stick with Ebay. Altho, I dont think there are any 100000 Mah solar power banks on TM Speedy Gonzales (78)
1404008 2015-07-19 21:57:00 If you spend a bit of time searching both trademe and E-bay you start to get the impression that some sellers are just buying from E-bay, marking it up, and re-selling on trademe for a tidy profit. I guess that's just how retail works but it seems like cutting the reseller out of the picture is smart.

I bought a genuine charging pad and back for my note 3, but I actually got it cheaper on sale from Samsung NZ direct than I could on E-bay. Local retailers though either didn't have it or wanted a lot more so E-bay would have been my 2nd option. Pays to check the manufacturer as well. Samsung have an online store although it's NZ range is limited. www.samsung.com
