| 1412196 | 2015-12-01 21:36:00 | Hello I bought an Asus Note book ( K555 LF ) I toke the back up of my windows and save it in my Ext HDD. After that I delete All the partion and repartion my Note book. Now I cant recover the backup of my Windows. I tried Many ways But all of them was useless. For example ( create recovery drive by a USB memory). Please help me. Thanks. |

| 1412198 | 2015-12-01 22:28:00 | Sorry , but not enough usefull info from you Are you trying to recover just doc's & emails photos etc from that backup or are you trying to recover something else Is windows running on the notebook? Did the the backup to USB work ? whats on the USB Is the recovery failing, not running or what. What errors or messages when you try & recover Did you wipe & reload windows , is the USB actually working 100%(no faults) & recognized, are you trying to reload Win from the backup...... What sort of backup was it , a full system image, or just a basic file backup . What ver of Win did you do the backup in. |

| 1412200 | 2015-12-02 06:55:00 | You may need to change your BIOS so that it will boot from your USB stick, or push the right function key that allows you to choose what to boot from. Once you boot it, you should be able to follow the instructions to recover your image. Cheers, KK |

I am trying to recover the backup of my windows( I made a backup of only my WINDOWS Local Disk C ) There is only just Operation system not any thing else like Doc or Pic or ... there is nothing on USB . | 1412205 | 2015-12-02 08:18:00 | The windows imaging is not always that fantastic. You will need a recovery CD which you should have been prompted to make or a Windows 8.1 DVD/ Bootable USB drive. Cant remember if you need to make separate partitions or just one single partition to start with. But have a read of the following article, scroll down till you see - Restore a System Image Backup. how-to-create-and-restore-system-image-backups-on-windows-8.1/ (www.howtogeek.com) After the last picture - it will prompt as to where the image is, in your case the USB Drive, select it and follow onscreen instructions. "IF" by some chance you have changed your Hard Drive, then you will HAVE to have the same size or Larger than the original. The windows backup image wont go onto a smaller drive even if there is plenty of free space. Example, lets say you had a 500GB hard Drive originally and put in a 256GB SSD with only 80GB Used -- the image wont work, it will say not enough space. In a case like that you would need better imaging software or clone the drive. |
