| 1411685 | 2015-11-21 04:24:00 | Ok I have a Win 7 machine as Host and a Win 10 machine as Guest as it were working over HomeGroup. Now whilst the network is working and I can share Printers and Libraries I cant see a Folder on the Desktop of the Host (Win 7) machine. Sure, I could put it into My Documents and deal with it there but I thought I should be able to share the desktop as well as Pictures, Music, Documents etc. Any thoughts anyone? :thanks |

Have a read of the first part: www.dummies.com If its not letting you in, you may find if your W10 has a email address as a sign in and W7 doesn't- this could be the cause. Took bloody ages to figure out why W10 insider previews were not allowed access to the other shared folders on other W10 PC's here :waughh: |
