1411536 2015-11-18 03:40:00 Once it reboots run adwcleaner again click on uninstall. Looks like vlc player changed msc file extension to a media file

I couldnt run services to see if the audio service was running. It was. Had to go to file associations to change it back to MMC.

Looks like the sound works now. And it looks like you had a bit of adware. Adwcleaner should have removed it

Since I uninstalled Flash since it was out of date, you can get the updated versions here. Down the bottom (helpx.adobe.com)

1411537 2015-11-18 03:48:00 how that happened beats me - that it? still got your acc no - sad to hear about JONAH jayal (1291)
1411538 2015-11-18 03:51:00 Yup sad alright about Jonah... Umm if the sound works yup. How about Firefox?? Working now?

When you installed vlc player it supports the msc file extension. It changed it so it was a media / vlc player file. The service.exe file is an msc file.

So that MAY have been why the sound stopped working (well must have been). Thats the only thing I changed. And I did hear the sound when I tested the sound under sounds
