2015-07-08 04:31:00 | This is perfectly acceptable! ....After all,we will need something to remember the Prime Minister by,after he leaves and goes to Hawaii. The leader of the fiscally prudent Government....goes right up there next to the $145k monitor. | ruup (1827) | |
2015-07-08 06:14:00 | I think a lot of people really don't care that much about the flag and it shows in this story. Time they either made a decision or dropped the whole thing, a lot of people will disagree either way and life will go on much the same regardless of what the flag looks like. Stupid waste of time and money on an issue almost nobody wanted raised, sure we all might have a preference as to our preferred flag but that's not the same as wanting it changed in the first place.

2015-07-08 19:51:00 | I care about it. But...I can't see why we just can't go online and vote for our choice from all the offerings. Nice and simple and no need to pay anyone bloated amounts.

The real issue is, there is ZERO chance on there being agreement on the choice of a new flag, So if we change it, there will be so many unhappy with the choice, that it will be continuously up for debate, argument, protest & changed again in the future Its just a flag after all . Keep the flag, please change our awefull national anthem. |

2015-07-09 01:52:00 | what a load of rubbish go and ask the Canadians how many would remove the maple leaf and go back to the Union Jack? 6564  Well it would depend who you asked, but given that French is the Mother Tongue of over 7 million Canadians it would come of no surprise if they didnt want the Union Jack back. I also note from the selection of flags you provided that the majority of those (with the exception of Canada) who have changed their flag, have been virtually banana republics, which may be an indication of our future. ;)
