A broken clock is right twice a day Zipp.

Obviously we don't have all the information about this, but it smells dodgy, and quite possibly corrupt.

Talking of corruption:

Corruption in Saudi Arabia

Corruption is a serious problem for companies operating or planning to invest in Saudi Arabia. Nepotism and the use of middlemen, ‘wasta’, to do business are particularly common. There is an overlap between business and politics, and the latter is generally based on patronage systems. The Combating Bribery Law and the Civil Service Law criminalise various forms of corruption, including active and passive bribery and abuse of functions. The government enforces the laws selectively. No law regulates conflicts of interest, and some officials engaged in corruption with impunity. The royal family and social elite influence the oil and petrochemicals sectors, while the public procurement sector has been continuously mentioned as an area of great concern to foreign investors. Gifts are regulated under Saudi law, but facilitation payments are not addressed.

So, are we that surprised the government don't want to release the paperwork ?

how is this different from cash koha or official 'gifts' ?
So what if we need to grease a few palms in order to sell our produce . We either play their game or we dont play at all .
So, should we take the high road, not trade with any nasty/dodgy countries (ie most of them)
& have no money to pay for welfare, health & education .

btw, it was labor who where the initial cause of the whole thing, Nat were left to tidy up the mess .
