528374 2007-02-26 21:32:00 I upgraded to XP last year and since then I have been unable to set custom paper sizes. I am at present trying to print mailing labels (about 250) on a Panasonic KX P2023 dot matrix using the tractor feed. I am using data from Access 2000. I have looked at Access help that tells me how to do it, but XP is different and doesn't have a Paper tab on the printer property window. I have had the same problem using my Brother HL2040 Laser, doing a different job where I wanted to use an A4 sheet split longitudinally.

Is there any way to set custom paper sizes under XP?

Click on File - Server Properties and you should be on a forms page.
Here you can add custom paper sizes which will then be available in the printer settings when you go to print from a program.

528376 2007-02-26 23:07:00 If the above does not work, check the printer makers site for updated printer drivers.

Often, with older printers, only basic functionality is provided by the Windows XP native drivers, you need the printer makers own updated drivers for full functionality. If they are available...
