| 528347 | 2007-02-26 20:03:00 | Have Xandros and Suse 10.2 my sound card is Intel 82801DB on Mobo and all works on Xandros (but maybe not 100%) but on SUSE I have the same settings but can get no mic output.On this forum at times I have seen comments about Mobo sound not being very good. Could my problem be associated with that ? |

| 528348 | 2007-02-26 20:19:00 | I have had few problems with cards and Linux stuff...but I don't think it's just because of it being a mobo card.....it's more like a compatibility with certain brands..especially with (in my case) NVidia cards and drivers. I've also had problems with certain brands of CPUs...Intel especially...but you can just get a different version of whatever Linux you are running to fix that. (Been there, done that):rolleyes: |
