528270 2007-02-26 08:14:00 Some of you may find this petty, but for some reason some of my folders on my PC (the C: Drive; Program Files; My Documents, to name a few) have acquired the Pictures watermark, even though they contain no picture files. What makes it worse is that you can't customise these folders to get rid of the watermark and make them the general 'Documents' folder.
Can someone please help me out? Thanks a lot.

I already have hidden files turned on, and I have never had pictures in these folders (there are no cached thumbnails). The most recent thing I've done is in a completely different folder in My Documents is make them a Pictures folder, because they have pictures in them. After that, I noticed these other folders had the pictures watermark. Did clicking "Also apply this template to all subfolders" have anything to do with it?

But it's not icons causing the problems...

528276 2007-02-26 10:18:00 I'm sorry, but it is a icon problem isn't it? I mean the folders re fine, its just the icons that are causing the problem right? beeswax34 (63)
528277 2007-02-26 11:32:00 Sometimes when you change the type of a folder within the tree, all others get this new type applied although they may have no corresponding content stored within them. Try to reapply folder type by selecting folder properties and then selecting Documents from the drop-down list on the Customize tab. Then click OK to save changes. mustwaitforever (11917)

I would if I could, but you can't customise the C: drive, Program Files, or My Documents!
