528091 2007-02-25 18:45:00 If a program tells me it requires ports 6809 , 3010, and 3011 to be open, how do I open them?

In fact how can I find out what ports are open and what are closed?

528092 2007-02-25 20:08:00 You can use this (www.grc.com) site to see if any ports are open on your firewall.

You are on broadband right? So you will have to go into your web config of your router to open up the ports.
What router do you have?

None of my ports could be accessed. They are all in Stealth mode.

I turned of XP's fire wall but still in stealth.
I have a Billion Bipac-7100 adsl modem/router
No other firewall

Have a look at the page and see if your program is listed.
If not have a look at the default guide.
