| 528397 | 2007-02-28 07:01:00 | Dont try that site its crap i used it on my laptop the other day and it told me i had 60% good drivers and 40% bad drivers and that was after i received an automatic driver update from hp and it had already instaled new drivers, and driver agent.com told me the new drivers i installed were bad drivers so then i cliked on the driver update and it told me you already have the best driver available. So dont believe a word that sight says nine times out of ten its wrong. Out of interest, was this for Vista Hitech? |

| 528398 | 2007-02-28 07:06:00 | Steve, I used to have a programme that listed all your drivers, the manufacturer, their date, their version and, IIRC, what ,dlls they used or required. It also cleaned out duplicates and unused or unwanted drivers, or at least the left overs, not sure on actual installation unistallation, though I'm sure it would sniff out updated version. I can't remember what the thing was called though, perhaps WinDriver somethingorother. I'll have a rummage around to see what I can find. |

Driver Magic Pro[/ur], or, [url=http://www.majorgeeks.com/WinDriver_Expert_d1672.html]WinDriver Expert (www.majorgeeks.com) That last one is the closest in name IIRC, but the one I had was free and used to do more than that, more like DriverMagic or the WinDriver Ghost. |
