528015 2007-02-25 08:04:00 I want to add some data files and pics to the content of an already burned DVD. I would ideally like to put them in existing folders on the DVD.
Is it possible and does it depend on the burning software I originally used.

It depends on if you "Finalized" the DVD or not.
There's a few different ways you can burn to CD/DVD:
Leave the session open - Rarely happens, this means that your PC wont read the data, the session is still waiting for more data to be burned.
Close the session but dont finalize the disc - This is frequent, means you can add another session on and import the files from the previous one. Basically it just keeps the 'pointers' to the original files and adds more information to the CD about where the new files are :)
Close the session and finalize the disc - Like all discs you buy from the shops, means you cannot add any more sessions, or burn any more data to it

Hope this helps, try Googling for info on CD Sessions

Cheers

I close but don't finalize so I know I can add data.
But is there any way in which I can "drop" new data into already existing folders on the disk, in the same way that one can "drag and drop" within the computer?
