| 529068 | 2007-03-01 08:50:00 | I was having trouble installing a printer and was advised to delete all USB controllers, being assured they would reinstall when I rebooted, but they didn't!! Now I can't use the mouse etc. I have searched the web for hours and have found no answers. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with XP Home,and SP2 installed later. I have tried the Windows disk, told it to search online etc but it always says "An error occurred .... The driver installation file is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later' Any ideas? |

| 529069 | 2007-03-01 08:53:00 | Reinstall SP2 if u have it on CD. But, yup usually if u reboot, they do come back. |
