| 528867 | 2007-02-28 10:49:00 | Hi all, Just looking for a utility for XP that'll adjust the CPU speed on the fly for a laptops Sempron 3100+ CPU. Currently its running at approx 44% capacity and I cant speed it up nor slow it down myself :( Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards Chill. |

| 528868 | 2007-02-28 11:11:00 | You don't have to have the power settings set to anything specific like Full Power? I know if you play around with the Power Options in the Control Panel it adjusts the CPU speed so maybe this needs to be set to Max Power or similar since you have another app to adjust CPU speed. |

| 528869 | 2007-02-28 11:45:00 | Yeah, Ive checked in the Power Settings etc, nothing in there... No idea why it decided to set itself to 800Mhz, it just has :-/ Nothing in the BIOS either :( Any other suggestions? Thanks Chill. |
