529442 2007-03-02 08:47:00 Hi All

Can anyone tell me of software (O/S is Windows XP) which can sit in the background and monitor how much network traffic your computer has generated (to stop me going over my download limit!!)

Ideally, program could give me total figures for eg. last 10 days, or month, or what-have-you.

Thanks in advance!

Or PressF1 Search & you will find ones other people use.

529446 2007-03-02 12:25:00 My one is called tautology Bandwith Meter v1.2 and I even think its NZ designed. Great program and exactly what you need with logs going back months if you need. beeswax34 (63)
529447 2007-03-02 18:41:00 "Traffic Usage Checker" free download, small and reliable. I second that :D Sits in the sys tray and tells you the % used, open up the window, it tells you when it will run out at the current daily usage (and how much you can use per day to avoid going over) the average per day you have used so far, how much you have uploaded and downloaded and it even resets with your cap :D

EDIT it can also log your usage

Traffic Usage Meter would be ideal but assumes you have administrative rights to Internet account (should have mentioned I don't) but Bandwidth Meter will be good as well.

:D :D :D :D
