| 529975 | 2007-03-07 07:15:00 | Okay, Dual Monitors (i13.photobucket.com) are much better when the same size Use Ultramon to configure your dual screens that may be good for your use, but for gaming you really want a centred primary, and the secondary need only be that, secondary, less important. i tried it with the taskbar stretched across both screens but hated it. i find my setup better for what i do, with two seperate desktops which i can work between. i can still stretch windows across both but rarely need/want to. basically wolfforest, try the different settings and see what you like best, you may even come back with a third opinion/preference;) |

You need to get USB speakers to do without the soundcard or you can get a USB sound adapter with analog mic input and speaker outputs. Did anyone suggest AMD rather than Intel? Check the benchmarks--AMD is faster for the money, especially for gaming. The 2GB ram is probably the most important change that will affect performance. By the way, a lot of games won't run on Vista, and you can get some good deals on computers which have XP loaded, and if you get a free Vista upgrade certificate with it, your covered when/if Vista improves. |
