Modem is DSL - 502T My mate has exactly the same we go at same time from telecom. So connection was the same even used his cables (ethernet) just changed PC boxs. results were the same on his connection. So I think Modem ok as his PC works fine wit IE 7 |

And in the registry. hence the word COMPLETELY :waughh: normally if ZA or nortons breaks on uninstall it will kill the connection completely, nothing will connect to the net. rock- for me of its just web pages only that not working then often its an infection. can you do a HJT log? (link is on speedys sig) also installing a firewall to see if anything werid is trying to access the net. the other possibility is DNS cache issues. check your host file, set it to default one. sometimes the DNS cache packs up and won't resolve names. sometimes you have to add the DNS servers to the firewall so it dosn't block it. normall with DNS issues nothing will work but not always for some werid reason. |
