| 530287 | 2007-03-05 05:43:00 | Go to www.qmb.co.nz or www.ascent.co.nz and tell them you need the best they can build for $2000. If going through QMB, ask me for better prices - my supplier may give you a cheaper price. |

| 530289 | 2007-03-05 05:58:00 | Please, if you do anything, do not buy anything from Dell. They are really expensive and not very good. Try QMB or PBTech which are local and you can go in and have a look at everything yourself. I recently paid around $2000 for a computer and got a pretty good deal from PB Tech. | beeswax34 (63) | ||
| 530290 | 2007-03-05 06:22:00 | If you happen to live in Auckland, a visit to PBTech is worth the trip to Penrose. As a visitor, I found it's huge display area much more interesting than the little to see at QMB Mt Roskill. Sure, looking isn't everything - but it can help when you're not sure what you want. So I agree with Beeswax's choice of firm. |

Well the software that the poster is going to install, includes the following. AutoDesk 3D Studio Max, Photoshop CS2, illustrator CS2, might run adobe after effects If they are retail copies, they would set them back tens of thousands of dollars, so the cost of the computer and the OS would be a drop in the bucket. |

Then might I suggest the computer specs that I posted in the PC World Chat room. That would make the cost of the software a drop in the ocean:D |
