530230 2007-03-05 04:52:00 I have two harddrives: one 250gb and one 40gb, they both have windows 40gb is fresh 250gb is old and extremly slow. I plan to have the 40gb as a system drive (primary) and 250gb as data (secondary) Is it possible/stupid to just right click > delete the secondary slow windows and program files and just leave C:/Photos and C:/Music? (for example) kLOTTiS (7106)
530231 2007-03-05 05:51:00 It'll be better if u copy the photos and music (from the 250gb) to the 40 GB then format the 250GB.

And then copy them back to the 250GB.

Yes although if you haven't got any important data on the 250Gb, it would be easier to format it.

Not if its the original drive though, as its probably got the boot.ini and marked as the active partition.
