| 530212 | 2007-03-09 18:44:00 | Thats not interlay true, (yes there are a few web hosts out there who change way too much for NZ hosting & there are other who are way too cheep ( who servers are in the US any how), but they are some out there who offer a good price for NZ hosting.:groan: | Greg (193) | ||
| 530213 | 2007-03-10 00:20:00 | Don't be ridiculous. NZ servers are way too costly to host on when there are perfectly adequate overseas servers. And why would I recommend him to change when he's in fact hosting it on my server that I rent in Aus? Kinda a dumb way for me to do business don't you reckon? What do you mean too costly, if you shop around I am sure you can find hosting just as cheap as you can get in oz. What pricing are you basing that fact on? You didn't say that you were the host in your original post. I would think that you would be more interested in making sure the site is working for client, as you wouldn't want to be risk being sued by your client by providing an inadequate service. Personally I think it is a DNS problem, is it the only website on your server that is having the problem? Anyway, it's quite clear that the majority of people can access the site no problems, so the problems exist with the people who can't access it, not with my hosting. So the questions have been answered. Thank you. There has been more than one person who has had the problem, and hasn't your client also had a problem. If you know there isn't a problem with the hosting why did you ask people to test the websites in a public forum? Just because the 'majority' of people can access it doesn't mean there isn't a problem. You should be trying to find out why your client is having the problem as they are the ones who are payng you. Have they contacted their ISP, as they would be able to tell them if the problem is with the ISP or the web host? Who is their ISP and is it the same as the ones on here who are having problems?. I doubt the webbrowser would make a difference. Have you tried switching it to another host to see if that fixes it? |

You obviously haven't read all the posts , because it doesn't work for everyone, including the original posters own client. Maybe it works for people on xtra and woosh, but people on clear and slingshot seem to be having problems accessing it. If two ISPs are having problems, where is the problem likely to be? |

With the idiot at the end of the keyboard no doubt. Shall I read all the posts again, lets see, Nope, nothing has changed, Site is still fine, The numbers are so overwhelmingly in agreement that the site is there and viewable that we can safely conclude there is no issue. Would you like a hot pin and directions to a nearby hill? |

Your questions make no sense at all under the circumstances and show that you also haven't read all the posts properly, so I can't be fagged to answer all your points. The site's working fine from a hosting perspective and this thread has proved the point. No more input needed. Thanks. |

If you didn't want peoples help in troubleshooting your website or advice, you shouldn't have posted this in a public forum. It also probably isn't the most professional way to show your client if there was a problem or not with your service. PS. Did you get your domain back that you claim was stolen from you? |
