| 530173 | 2007-03-05 05:21:00 | May be a DNS issue. I recently was unable to contact a site I had been able to for years. Thought it went down and then one day tried it from work and found it okay. E-mail to ISP no help. Tried ping from home and work to resolve into two different IP addresses. Heaps of e-mails to ISP asking if DNS upating okay and many requests from them for traceroutes and the like and me explaining the wrong IP address. Long story short (3 weeks to sort out) is that IHug have changed their Primary and Secondary DNS addresses and failed to mention it. |
