530105 2007-03-04 22:13:00 anyone know when go large is coming back? or if it aint coming back? And is there a timeframe xtra imposes for you to transfer back to one of their old plans for free?currently they don't charge to change back to an old plan. and how long is their broadband usuage meter been down for? I was trying to see how much data i used for 'previous months' so i can work out which old plan i should go back to,but it says it's down. lance4k (4644)

Most probably when they fix it and the speeds.

Dont hold your breath tho. Try ringing them or sending them an email and ask.

530107 2007-03-04 23:07:00 hey has anyone changed from go large to another xtra broadband plan online? how do telecom know not to charge you for this charge as they say in their email? lance4k (4644)
530108 2007-03-04 23:59:00 They don't charge you for changing plans. Of course, if you change to a higher price plan, you have to pay them the new price every month. bk T (215)

That is if they every do fix it……, I think they may force everyone who is still on it off it & on to another plan... with in a few months to a year…. :2cents:

530110 2007-03-05 01:59:00 Never?

Having found it was a stuff up, well as far as the users were concerned, I can't see them wanting to bring back "unlimited".

My point exactly!, just take a look back at all the other ISP's that some point in time that have offered "unlimited" & looks what happened to those plans after a few months.....

530112 2007-03-05 04:37:00 Telecom tends to repeat its mistakes, but seeing that this is the second time they have dropped their unlimited plan, maybe they might have realised that "unlimited" transfer is not a viable way to supply internet access (or anything else for that matter). All it means is that low usage customers are paying for the usage of high volume users (whether it be in cash, overloaded exchanges or backbones running at capacity). Even those on more expensive plans suffer because they don't prioritise traffic based on how much you are paying each month. maccrazy (6741)
