| 531431 | 2007-03-09 04:12:00 | I'm trying to install World of Warcraft (Heh, why not?) but I've only got 3.44gb out of 27.8gb free. I've already deleted a bunch of stuff, but now the only things above 100mb in add or remove programs is MS Word and Photoshop CS2 (Both of which I need) And adding up everything left in add or remove programs only comes to about 1.525gb.. My question is: Where is the other 22gb? And what can I delete to safely free up 1-3gb of room? |

| 531432 | 2007-03-09 04:16:00 | Just got rid of that hyberfil file that was mentioned in another thread by disabling hibernation. I now have just over 4gb, but would like to free more. EDIT: Just tried to install - said there was not enough free space. Help? EDIT2: Just read the website, says that 6gb is needed. |

| 531436 | 2007-03-09 04:35:00 | Yes, I did the usual, defrag, delete temp files etc the other day. We're talking 22gb I want free here...What are some unnecessary files I can get rid of...and by that I mean the computers files; not mine. Obviously I know I won't free all of the 22gb, because that would leave me with a rock. But after turning off hibernation and saving a gig, what else can I do similar to that? |
