| 531325 | 2007-03-09 00:27:00 | If its the only hdd in the case, is it on the primary IDE connection, and did u jumper it back as master? Are u sure u connected the IDE cable properly?? And the right way round? When u tested it on another PC could u see what was on it? And is / was it the same IDE cable you used when u tested it on the other PC? What else is in the case (besides this 1 hdd)?? Any cd's/dvd's?? (If there are, are they on the secondary IDE connection)? |

| 531327 | 2007-03-09 01:06:00 | Ah according to this (bioscentral.com) That A20 gate error could mean this 4-2-3 Gate A20 failure The keyboard controller has failed. Replace the IC if possible Have u got a USB keyboard handy?? And USB ports on this PC?? I would plug one in if u can and see what happens. Do any of the numbers on the above site, sound like the beep/s you're hearing? Change / replace the CMOS battery, see if it makes a diff. It maybe flat. |

It maybe flat > will try a new one > new battery still produces 1-1-1-1-1- beeping |
