531157 2007-03-09 00:29:00 I have a Canon MP350, Scan , Fax , Copy, print, Prints CD and DVDs. Seems to work great..
Is that a model MP350 or MP530?

531159 2007-03-09 02:45:00 Just a warning, if you intend installing a Canon all in one, do not uninstall the existing scanner and printer. Did this recently and Canon installation stalled at 31% plus the Control Panel | System locked up and could not get into System Restore. Eventually got into Safe Mode then System Restore and restored to previous day. Reinstalled Canon with no problem. Think the uninstall removed some essential files. FrankS (257)
531160 2007-03-09 04:03:00 Yes, go for canon.
They may not be the cheapest to run (ink wise), however they don't seem to give a moment's trouble. They never seem to suddenly stop working, or start flashing their lights at you for no reason - they just WORK.

531161 2007-03-09 04:51:00 After installing a variety of different printers I really like Canon for the way it gives you the choice of which apps to install with it. All of the other printers I have come across just install them anyway whether you want the apps or not. FoxyMX (5)
531162 2007-03-09 05:51:00 Just dont buy a Brother thats all. The customer service sucks, the printer just never stops cleaning (no, there is no manual override) and that just sucks all the ink dry in no time. And they look ugly:D beeswax34 (63)
531163 2007-03-10 01:55:00 Many thanks for all your help. In the end I stuck with HP and so far I am impressed with it. My last one lasted for 10 years so I can't complain.
