About CompTIA A+ does anyone know when are they going to put Vista in the test? And back to topic I seriously need help with my budgetting. My budget is $3000 including OS. CPU: Intel Core 2 E6600 2.4Ghz $475(Must get it from other country which is around 3-4months time) HDD: Seagate Barracude SATA 3.0Gb/s 250GB 8MB Cache $113.62 Mem: 2GB DDR-800 PC2-6400 Kingston Hyper X CL5 $366 (Must get it from other country as well) Grap: This is a bit hard. Nividia 7950GT 512MB SLi-Ready $453.88 OR Nividia 8800GTS 320MB SLi-Ready $564.00 MOBO: Gigabytes GA-N680iSLi-DQE $526.00 Mon: Do you think this monitor is too good or should I get a cheaper one? ViewSonic VX922 2ms 19'' LCD Monitor $532 DVD: Asus 16X Dual Layer $66.26 PSU: Another hard part. Thermaltake PSU 500W $133.33 OR Thermaltake 550W ATX2.0 PFC 12 CM FAN $140.63 OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit OEM $300.00 (I think I need this even though it doesn't look important to others) Case: Thermaltake Mambo $80.00 Key&Mou: Logitech Deluxe 250 Desktop Black $19.69. Budgeting aside for a second, I think the Nividia 8800GTS 320MB SLi-Ready is better for the extra $10 or so. But I could be wrong. I'm not very good with my budgeting, went from a $1400 build to a now almost $3000 budget. I think you could find yourself a cheaper monitor, but make sure it's a decent brand. My last year budget was $1500 then $2000 and now 2007 $3000(Have no choice) since in the IT industry I need Vista so added all up to around $3000+ because you know the PC specs causing you to go for higher budget. Oh well, to me PC is everything. i.e. watching movies? Well, the PC got it for you (Sources I don't want to talk about it), Music? The PC does it like MP3 or CD or Radio, Need to play a video game? Well, you don't need PS2, and XBOX to survive and there you go again you can do it on PC. Hmm, how about a presentation for my Boss? And do you create it with hand? What? I mean I'll use the PC. :D Thanks Wolf. Even though you got CompTIA A+ Certified and got away test on Vista well you'll still face it. Well, I don't think you an get away with it because after that the customers might show up in Windows Vista in their machines, and since you don't use Vista what do you do? I mean 98/Win 9X are no longer supported and Vista is. If you're doing Microsoft Certification you'll probably have a test on Vista at the end of the year now. See? Vista is important to some of us. 532299	2007-03-12 08:20:00	I would really consider going for the 8800 GTS. I just got a computer in December with a 7600 GT and I am already ruing that decision because now I will have to upgrade within this year and could have saved money overall. BTW, your specs look pretty good.	beeswax34 (63)

Like P965 and 680i Chipsets motherboard. P965 have a better value than the 680i. 8800GTS seems coming in different packaging speed from different vendors. MSI one is really great but still have no idea about the price. Thermaltake PSU, I really need help with this because some people said Thermaltake PSU are not really realiable at all. But in TomsHardware.com the 550W tested results were pretty good. Should I go for Thermaltake PSU?	PedalSlammer (8511)

P965 have a better value than the 680i. 8800GTS seems coming in different packaging speed from different vendors. The parts are on the delay because I need someone(my trusted friend, but I'll pay him when the parts arrived anyway) go to that place and get it. Because no one can be trusted by posting things overseas. I mean when you pay them, they might not send it instead of sending fake products. :annoyed: Yeah, kinda annoying to wait since I really want to play Test Drive Unlimited, Flight Simulator X, etc. Run 8 OS on one system making it cool. Store movies, pictures, apps, etc. I know 250GB is not enough but I can use my 320GB last year HDD to backup my important files.	PedalSlammer (8511)
