2007-03-11 10:09:00 | My webhost provides 2 fully featured shopping carts, Its a matter of whacking your banner on one, Populating it with stock, and adding some data to the info and contact page,. Never installed them myself, but I see a bunch of sites that look amazingly similar so figure thats what they used.

2007-03-11 10:34:00 | hmmmm, I have had major billing issues with my webhost, So I'm not going to promote the company, Their crap went down hill almost immediately upon being purchased by a bigger company. Anyhow, the thread starter could best use my info by checking out what features are supplied by potential web hosts.

2007-03-11 11:33:00 | You could try Agora. Your webhost, or future webhost may have some some carts already on their server which can be quite simply installed. An example is Agora. If they don't have it it can be found free at http://www.agoracart.com. Keep in mind that even though they can be easily installed, contrary to what Metla says, configuring them can be quite tricky for a novice. There are other free options that don't need to be installed, but they also certainly require a bit of familiarity to set up. I would give you more help but unfortunately can't because I do this kinda thing professionaly.

Does any know which Web Site Builder is any good for someone who only has basic understanding of html??? Example cubecart.com You are best to hire a designer, especially if you are wanting it for a business application. |

2007-03-12 04:54:00 | zencart is better than oscommerce: http://www.zencart.com/ They both require quite a bit of techinical knowledge, especially if something goes wrong with it. I would recommend hiring a professional, who will set it up and provide ongoing support. SHopping carts can take a very long time to setup and configure.
