533059 2007-03-15 03:42:00 Get rogueremover and trojan remover in my sig below.

Install and run both.

Then click on scan, then select the 3rd to 7th option in the utils menu in trojan remover.

Then reboot.

Have u downloaded and run Trojan remover yet?

Try this (siri.urz.free.fr) as well.

Follow the instructions on the site.

533063 2007-03-15 05:26:00 Yep, thats the whole hijackthis log

I've ticked that box in hijack this and rebooted.
I've run Trojan remover, rougeremover, stinger, coolwebsearch, spybot, adaware se, windows defender and done a full system scan with AVG. All programs were updated before scanning was done. Nothing was found.

Do you think it maybe a setting in Internet options?. Something to do with the encoding?

Just noticed that the Google name picture doesn't display on the Google NZ homepage. I does on other Google sites like Google AU, Google UK etc.

533064 2007-03-15 05:44:00 You could try resetting IE to its defaults settings. See what happens.

And try uninstalling FF, delete all of its folders as well as the folders in documents and settings (save whatever like bookmarks ) then reinstall it.

533065 2007-03-15 07:12:00 I'm updating internet Explorer to version 7 to see if that will help.

I've run through all the settings in Internet options and set them to default but still no go.
I'll see what happens after it's upgraded to IE7 otherwise if need be then I'll reformat the computer.
Could do with a clean out.

533066 2007-03-15 21:14:00 Just a follow up.

I couldn't get the pages to display right. The computer had had quite a few nasty viruses and i guess they'd done alot of damage so it was easier to reformat.

Thanks to all anyway.
