| 532739 | 2007-03-13 20:26:00 | Ive got a computer here that I notice has Microsoft.Net Framework 1.1, 1.1 hotfix, 2.0 and 3.0 all installed. Question is, can the earlier versions be removed? They all appear in Add & Remove Programs. Oh, WinXP |

I think if u install one, and if something needs it, u can (or u can try to reinstall it again), if u uninstall the other 2 (2 and 3) I tried that trick on the other PC, I removed 1, but then a program I had wouldnt install without it. I couldnt install it again. I had to reformat to fix it. |

| 532743 | 2007-03-13 22:21:00 | What does this .Net Framework do? :o this (en.wikipedia.org) 1.1 was buggy as, even with the updates. 2.0 is still full of bugs. And 3.0 I havent got. Dont think I'll get it in a hurry on dialup either. I noticed tho 1 and 2 can cause lag on a system. |
