| 532673 | 2007-03-13 11:03:00 | I would not let MS OneCare anywhere near an Outlook inbox for a while. Link (www.yepeoo.com) | mikebartnz (21) | ||
| 532674 | 2007-03-13 11:26:00 | OneCare might have caused a lot more damage than any virus for the last 30 years of users computing experience LOL :lol: :lol: :lol: and THAT is why MS should NOT be making ANY antivirus program EVER. (yes the caps were necessary) |

The gripe I have with it is that it assumes the role of security all for itself and then destroys any other security programs running . . . even in XP . It is a jealous system and won't allow the existence of any other prevention programs, so I don't use it or advise it's use . This would be OK if it really worked . . but it is so weak that I don't trust it . If there were letters of it's efficacy from McAfee/Norton/Symantec, then I'd REALLY be aware . [Gads . . it's nice to have the ALT+xxxx thing working here now] |

How the hell can such a basic thing happen, especially when the initial problem was discovered over a year ago? No doubt the anti-MS brigade will be revelling in this blunder, but you've got to feel for the poor sods who's email has been binned . |

The user is damn lucky his hard drive wasn't reformatted with that sort of activity suspected to have been carried out by someone he may know. (If the user was a child Soo Bratfodr would have protected him.) Just fancy knowing someone who might have sampled a non ms product ! Really, that is too much, these people should not be allowed to breed. M$ rules. Go Bill. (Especially if you are a Rottweiller) |
