532353 2007-03-12 07:07:00 Hi,

I am operating Windows XP and about the time my kids installed EA Sports Cricket 06 every time I log on I get the following error message

"Windows - No Disk"
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive"

Four hits of cancel makes it go away and everyhting seems to operate OK. I have done all the basic maintenance (defrag etc), but to no avail.

Not a show stopper but very annoying

Ideas?

532354 2007-03-12 07:29:00 Is Cricket 06 still installed??

It sounds like something in startup is doing this, in msconfig.

Try typing msconfig under start/run, then go to the startup tab.

Anything here saying/showing any command or anything for this Cricket game?

Do u have some kind of removable drive as stated here ? (support.microsoft.com)

532355 2007-03-12 07:37:00 You can get a message like this after viewing a Quicktime movie from a CD. The game might of had an intro or similar using it. Open up Quicktime Player (look for icon on desktop or in menu) then go File > Open Recent > Clear Menu. See if this helps.

Let us know how you get on.

Welcome to PressF1 as well. :)
