| 533305 | 2007-03-15 23:16:00 | have you tried zipping it and sending it? To be a bit nosey, what is in the document? Can you save it as a text file or .rtf and then send it or does it have features that require it to be in doc format |

However his computer will not accept it, says it may contain a virus . What do I, or he, need to do to get it thro? Thanks . PJ That is a 'feature' of outlook . Try using winzip to first zip it, and then send it . Alternatively you could upload it to a website or server, and then send him the link . |

| 533308 | 2007-03-16 00:39:00 | Try re-naming it to "whatever.old", when it gets there the person at the other end names it back to "whatever.doc" to open it when they have it on their computer. | zqwerty (97) | ||
| 533309 | 2007-03-16 03:43:00 | Wouldn't hurt to run a virus scan over the document too - just in case you have caught a nasty and are unwittingly passing it on... | johcar (6283) | ||
