Well u didnt tell me why did u? There will be a few programs, that wont work like IE 7 and WMP 11. And some of the newer programs that will only work with XP obviously. |

It IS a 3D app. Reason that I'm not keen on XP is that it's a P3 500MHz with 160Meg of RAM & a 15Gig HD ... & it is not worth another update (of the specs) Done once 5 years ago. Machine now 7.5 years old. From what I've read, on XP it'll either crawl or, won't go at all. whereas 2K will go OK (hopefully!) I'm a pensioner, so money's tight Thank you everyone, but, I think I'll persevere with 98SE. The 2K thingy was a bit of a 'pipe dream' anyway Regarding 3D app's this thing's got an Asus 6600 card in it, supposed to be 3D compliant. Never tried any though. Guess I won't get to try it now.
