533836 2007-03-17 08:25:00 I have WinXP. Is it possible to remove the "Documents" from the Start Button or reduce the numbers appearing (about 10 at present), or stop any documents appearing?

I know that they can be cleared from Taskbar >Properties etc, but I would prefer that none ever appeared.

Do you mean the programs showing from the Start Button - mine is not showing any documents ? If so, right click on the program and choose "Remove from this list".

Hi Beeswax
I see what you mean. Just looked at mine using your procedure and it is already unchecked which is why I am not seeing any documents. My procedure is to remove programs from the Start Menu which is not what was wanted by Bryan.

This will solve a lot of the problems you are talking about.
