534637 2007-03-22 01:33:00 Sorry. The link's now updated. CK Chris Keall (10417)
534638 2007-03-22 07:39:00 Of course it will be the "most secure Windows version ever".

It will require only 5 Gb of ram, a 10 THz processor, and 100 TB of disk (for the OS).

However, it will be so user friendly that it won't need a user. It will do everything any user could want without even being asked.

(Am I being a little too cynical? :D)

Starting to sound like the boy (multi-billion dollar company) who cried wolf... heard that line before!

534641 2007-03-23 04:53:00 What I want to know is how they can keep getting "more" secure with each new OS but still they keep letting the bugs in... ;) winmacguy (3367)
534642 2007-03-23 05:14:00 "More secure than any previous version of Windows" is not particularly restrictive, just as the Atlantic is a whole lot smaller than the Pacific, but it is still a bit hard to swallow.
How late will this version be? We do know from experience it will be released before any previous version has been made satisfactory.
And in this case, the left hand doesn't even know what the left hand is doing, never mind the right hand.
(Marketing will get their bit right though.)

534643 2007-03-23 07:39:00 For example, a detailed list of future Windows features includes converged local, network and internet search capabilities and improved wireless connectivity, management and security.

Wonderful!
