| 534547 | 2007-03-20 10:10:00 | :badpc: 2 things: I have a pic on my desktop that I cannot put in the rubbish! When I try to delete it, a sign says . . Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disc . When I open it, I use Irfanview . . theres no pic there . Secondly, for some time now, when I go offline and reconnect, the IE pages do not respond and they must be closed . However, when I try to reopen IE, it can take as long as 5 minutes for a page to come up . During this time I can hear the drive working its little butt off!! Ive run spybot, not a thing! Adaware . . nothing outstanding . HJT only has a couple of lines needing removal, usually relating to a game I have downloaded . Can ye help me please |

| 534548 | 2007-03-20 10:15:00 | Get rogueremover in my sig, see if that picks anything up. Its only new but it detects some rogue programs. Run it then check for updates first. Thats if 2k/XP/NT/Vista is on this laptop. Whats the name of this pic?? Was it one u put on the desktop? |

| 534550 | 2007-03-20 10:24:00 | What happens if you right click on your desktop and go refresh, or go to Control Panel, select Display and Customise Desktop, and select Clean Desktop Now? Don't know about the IE problem. If in doubt like that I would try CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) and clean the whole thing out and try again! |

| 534552 | 2007-03-20 10:41:00 | Downloaded, updated rogueremover and it found nothing. Can u explain what u mean by change the desktop pic to none? I have CC but I only use it sometimes, cos it deletes too much of the history and sign ins etc. |
