534105 2007-03-18 18:29:00 hi. i dont know where to start. i have 1 pc and 1 laptop. my laptop connects to the internet but my pc wont anymore. i am not sure if this is due to the programs and spyware thats getting to my pc. i cant ping any site either. i can ping 127.0.0.1 though. i have cleaned cache. settings is in automatic detect settings. i have the two monitor screen lighting up in the system icon. i cant login in any messenger. ive done ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew but it didnt help. the most recent application i installed was the password cracker for yahoo. please help. i dont want to reintall my pc coz this has a lot of data to backup. it will be tedious on my part. please help me get this pc back to connect to the internet. ivo10 (12015)

It would be more tedious on my part to have someone cracking my Yahoo password.

Iam with PaulD here I would be more tedious on my part to have someone cracking my Yahoo password as well.

PS: ivo10 what OS are you runing? Win XP?

Can you ping your network card?

Can you ping the ADSL modem?

534113 2007-03-20 04:47:00 That crack most probably screwed something up. Or gave u a trojan or worm or something.

Get trojan remover in my sig below, install run it then click on scan, then select the 3rd to 7th option under the utilities menu.
