534048 2007-03-18 09:11:00 Hey Guys,

I have this webcam called a "TwinkleCam". Im pretty sure its a re-branded Chiccony thing.

Trouble is i no longer have the drivers for it. I've tried various driver versions. Including Chiccony DC2110 and DC2120 (TwinkleCam Pro).

Its just a cheap thing, but none of these drivers work. I got it free when my father signed up with WebNet ISP ages ago.

Anyone have this model and able to help me out with getting drivers, or maybe know of software that will detect what the hardware is without having drivers installed ?

Cheers.

hey, cheers for replying.

Unfortunatly these are one of the drivers i have tried. It doesn't seem to do anything, and the webcam still shows up as a "USB device" when i plug it in.

534051 2007-03-18 10:54:00 Try http://www.driverguide.com/ They have drivers for just about anything. You can also download a utility from this site, the "DriverGuide Toolkit" which can be used to identify unknown hardware. You will probably have to sign up to the site, but it's free  Rod J (451)
