2007-03-24 00:15:00 | A bit misleading. For instance my brother in Napier gets about what the Panmure stats are. Its not just the city, its which exchange you are off too. If they could sort by exchange it would be accurate.

2007-03-24 02:48:00 | With Panmure now being bugged with the 6-exit/entry roundabout controversy, who would think that they have one of the fastest-available Internet connection? Cheers :)

2007-03-24 05:08:00 | We are in the RD 9 area west of Whangarei. About 3 kms off the State Highway 14. I'm pretty sure there is a green telecoms cabinet at the intersection with the state highway. I would sell the house but it's not mine.....yet :D

2007-03-24 06:22:00 | I get 336 kb/s on Xnet's River broadband. Surely it should be higher than that, even though I live rural? Any ideas to help boost it a bit please | supergran (108) | |
2007-03-24 08:28:00 | I get 336 kb/s on Xnet's River broadband. Er....someone actually worse than me. Well you may have an ancient Exchange like we do here in our little town. In which case you can't do anything about it. Get Xnet to look into it, they got Telecom to confess in writing about mine........

2007-03-24 10:19:00 | I notice Xnet speed is a bit ahead of Telecom's. I wonder how this could be? Seeing as the lines are presently Telecoms. I'm getting speeds anything up to 1800 kbps (usually quite a bit less - 1558 at the moment which is not bad) on what used to be a 3.5 mbps plan. Just to finish, where is Whakatiri? I live at Pukengahu (bet no one's heard of that before).
