| 535335 | 2007-03-23 22:47:00 | Ive been given a Compaq Presario 2500 notebook which had a failed HDD. Anyway, Ive installed a new HDD and loaded Windows XP but am a little confused about the modem, at least I think its a modem? :D Its a Fritz Card PCMCIA v2.0 High Performance ISDN manufactured by AVM. Question is will this thing work in New Zealand? As far as I know it last worked in Germany. And, where would one purchase the miniscule cord to the telephone splitter? One end of the cord would be standard but the Fritz Card end is a long elongated socket looking like a miniature of the original PCMIA socket. Googling has produced most of the information about the Fritz Card in a foreign language and I cant find anything that looks like the appropriate telephone cord on the Dick Smith site. :help: |

Seems I could have spent a lot of time trying to get it going over here. :D Anyway, thanks for your help again. |
