535676 2007-03-30 02:36:00 Hey guys,
I installed norton ghost 2003 and decided to clone my C drive. Everything went fine until the pc restarted in DOS mode as said by NG2003. I get a message saying operation failed and computer will restart in windows but it does not. It just sits there doing nothing, and when i restart it manually i cant even go into safe mode.... help please. I cant be stuffed reinstalling the whole xp ...

cheers

Nope, F8 didnt work, and also recovery from the boot CD didnt work either, its was like the whole boot up files got stuffed up. I just finished reinstalling everything and did some research and found out that NG2003 is not very friendly with SATA drives. ( wish i had known this before :badpc:). So if you have a SATA drive than its risky using NG2003 unless you are much better off in technical setups than I am.. Anyways, does anyone know of any other free softwares that can be used on SATA drives for imaging.

cheers
