| 535676 | 2007-03-30 02:36:00 | Hey guys, I installed norton ghost 2003 and decided to clone my C drive. Everything went fine until the pc restarted in DOS mode as said by NG2003. I get a message saying operation failed and computer will restart in windows but it does not. It just sits there doing nothing, and when i restart it manually i cant even go into safe mode.... help please. I cant be stuffed reinstalling the whole xp ... cheers ron |

I just finished reinstalling everything and did some research and found out that NG2003 is not very friendly with SATA drives. ( wish i had known this before :badpc:). So if you have a SATA drive than its risky using NG2003 unless you are much better off in technical setups than I am.. Anyways, does anyone know of any other free softwares that can be used on SATA drives for imaging. cheers |
