| 1412368 | 2015-12-05 02:21:00 | I am running ESET Smart Security v8.0.319.0. Notice a message on PC from Action Centre that advises "Windows Firewall and ESET Personal firewall both report that they are turned off" Can someone tell me where to find this on ESET to check please. |

This is from v9 6851 If its saying its on then Windows could be reading it wrong. You can also download and upgrade to V9 Click on I already Purchased (www.eset.com) It should upgrade to V9 once the Installer is downloaded and clicked. |

| 1412370 | 2015-12-05 21:29:00 | Thanks Wainui. I have installed V9 and all appears ok. Just asking for a parental password which I don't need. Guess I have to put something in there to stop it telling me that ESET needs attention.? |

| 1412371 | 2015-12-05 21:36:00 | Thanks Wainui. I have installed V9 and all appears ok. Just asking for a parental password which I don't need. Guess I have to put something in there to stop it telling me that ESET needs attention.? Just disable it. It shouldn't ask for a password unless ones been given in the past. Open Smart Security / Setup - On right, Security Tools / Parental Control 6852 |
