| 1405749 | 2015-08-03 11:50:00 | as nice as it is, i would appreciate the capslock and shift keys being combined, the shift key being ctrl, sym being alt and ok being esc. there is definitely room in the market for an updated slightly larger device with an enhanced keyboard. sym key not accessing the approximate symbol is a personal gripe bring on root. |

| 1405750 | 2015-08-03 21:55:00 | It's nice to have choice, cool you found the phone you wanted. Personally I started with a slider and moved to a touchscreen and I prefer it. I like a large screen and if you tacked a keyboard onto my Note 3 it would make an already large phone just too bulky IMO. I hope they keep making these so people have options but just because some prefer them doesn't mean it's enough of a market to be profitable, especially if too many people only buy them 2nd hand. Phone manufacturers go where the market takes them, if a product proves profitable that's where they focus. Given that the only phones with slide out keyboards I've personally seen in the last few years have been the ones you've linked to recently I don't think it's a very popular option. |

| 1405752 | 2015-08-08 05:13:00 | i would like to report that rooting with root genius and flashing with safestrap was sucessful and i am dualbooting the stock rom and cm12.1. was drunk last night and misplaced my phone so until it makes itself known to me i have yet to enable gsm on cm12.1 this gsm hsdpa nonsense is rather annoying. my experience has not been without faults with the stock rom even with hsdpa. sometimes people ringing me go straight to voicemail. sometimes it adds +1 to numbers i dial. sometimes texts don't work. its all fairly inconsistent. google maps was fine over hsdpa for navigating past kaiapoi. hopefully cm12.1 resolves all of these issues. is there any way for me to get the playstore, youtube, maps and gmail apps without the rest of the google apps? right now my cm12.1 is free of both verizon and google apps. i would like it to mostly stay that way but i actually use the aforementioned apps, regularly. |
