Are you going to the Smithsonian in Washington DC as well? They used to have a satellite you could walk through. Like Canaveral, one of the amazing things the US has to offer. |

| 1405500 | 2015-07-28 10:30:00 | No, not going to DC this trip. Went there 6 years ago. My son in law is a software engineer and used to work for NASA, he still does some consultancy for them. He said best to see the Space Center first. It took us three days to get there and two days back, from North Carolina. Fantastic road trip and well worth the ride! Seeing the Saturn V rocket and Shuttle Atlantis really blows your mind! We have only a week til we fly home, still lots to see around here. Cheers, LL |
