If you run/install it give me the ID and pw it gives you in a PM. Dont worry, you'll see what I'm doing

1413171 2015-12-28 06:29:00 Ok did a scan with tdsskiller and adwcleaner, clean. Installed ccleaner, it crashed (dont know if ccleaner had finished removing temp files etc).

Uninstalled Mbam, Hitman, spybot and powerdvd (It looks like this can cause a 0x1a stop error). This is what the crash said, when I ran bluescrenview

Installed defraggler, wasnt defragged. So did a boot defrag and rebooted. Just waiting to see if it makes any diff

Just waiting to see if it makes any diff Shouldn't need to defrag, windows 10 does it automatically ( by default) every week, this of course can be changed. The symptoms are VERY common, seen it plenty of times on computers that have been upgraded from an earlier version.

1413173 2015-12-28 08:01:00 Yup wouldn't be surprised if all the VAIO crap on this is causing a slowdown. One reason I do clean installs / and dont buy a branded system (unless I can wipe the lot)

I wonder if Adobe reader is causing this. According to Google it can. And Chrome

1413174 2015-12-28 09:10:00 The Op should have disabled them, but yep, wouldn't be at all surprised. wainuitech (129)
1413175 2015-12-28 19:21:00 Decided to get the ISO for Win10. We'll do a clean install. I'll use rufus and make a bootable flash drive later. They'll have to do the rest Speedy Gonzales (78)
1413176 2015-12-29 07:33:00 Heya,
Sorry for the late reply. I had a really busy day.
I tried to run rufus but I can't select a device (external hard drive is plugged in), the dropdown menu is just blank.
I really don't know what I'm doing with rufus, sorry sorry :(

Uninstalling Adobe Reader did not help :(

1413177 2015-12-29 08:16:00 You need a USB flash drive not a hdd. And if there's anything on it that you need, copy it to the hdd. Because rufus will format it Speedy Gonzales (78)
