| 1413150 | 2015-12-23 19:06:00 | Just had this problem with my Win 7 laptop.Discovered it was windows update trying to sort itself out- svchost network. Killed it a few times and cpu stopped maxing out all the time.Turned off Windows updates and that stopped it as well. This week I turned WU back on and just left the laptop running,it found all the updates it wanted to,installed them and it's been great since then.(this week -so far!) |

On Mine theres 4 Entries, on yours theres 20. :( Suggestion, uninstall it, then reinstall if you must use it -had several customers over the last two weeks that have had all sorts of problems ALL relating with Chrome not working with some new updates in W10 (myself included) You can also change some of its features: Instructions Here (answers.microsoft.com) If you want to see if its a program and not Windows, start the computer in safe mode: 4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10 (www.digitalcitizen.life) If it runs normally then you have a program problem. Disable iCloud as well, its known to cause problems sometimes. You still have to much running in the background. Take a look at the pic - The items in red can be left on, turn off everything else .6890 |

Also I have heaps of tabs open in Chrome so that's probably why there are so many processes. I've already seen that link and tried changing Chrome's settings. The disk issue was present for a long time, way before I upgraded to Windows 10. Will try disabling iCloud and running safe mode. |
