| 1413023 | 2015-12-17 07:44:00 | I do not have any problems with W10 now, since I disabled Auto Updates and Defender. Use AVG now. Is faster than W7, but not enough to pay for. | mzee (3324) | ||
| 1413024 | 2015-12-17 20:12:00 | The biggest problem for me with W10 was my inability to learn a different way to do things. To a great extent, thats the major failure with Win10 & Win8. This is 2015, PC's & OS's should be easy to use. If you need to google how to do some basic tasks, then theres an issue with the basic interface design. I had to change the time & day on a new Win10 PC last week...my good god. Just so many clicks & sub menus to do this simple task. |

I actually found it easier to change the time zone in Windows 10 than older OSs. |

| 1413028 | 2015-12-18 20:34:00 | Can the time/date be changed back to when MS didn't constantly collect (STEAL) all your data and send it to a thousand different servers every day? (telemetry) | bevy121 (117) | ||

(telemetry) I use Windows Firewall Control, and deny almost everything that asks for outgoing access. It helps to research who the associated IP addresses belong to. You have to pay a few dollars to get the Notifications part of WFC, but it certainly is interesting to see what is going on. |

Using firewalls etc will NOT stop the telemetry at all - the hidden services that do the MS data scouring BYPASS firewalls completely . . |

| 1413031 | 2015-12-18 21:55:00 | The more I use Win 10 the better I like it. The odd hiccup along the way seems to be fixed quickly in the next update or so. Yes I leave windows update to do it's thing, unlike some, I refuse to believe that Microsoft is deliberately setting out to stuff my system up. I fully understand that there is a great amount to be learned for those that have to find and fix things for a lot of different types of people who often have quite different requirements for their PCs but as an individual I have found little trouble with learning the ropes and getting my PC to work exactly as I want. | CliveM (6007) | ||
